YESTERDAY'S NEWS UK

Terms of Service

Effective date: 29 October 2026

These Terms of Service apply to the Yesterday's News UK website and its associated automated content-publishing application (together, the “Service”). By accessing the website or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

About the Service

Yesterday's News UK creates short-form summaries of current news and trending topics. The publishing application is operated to generate and upload videos to accounts authorised by its operator. It is not offered as a general-purpose public video-publishing service.

Information and accuracy

Content is provided for general information and entertainment. Although we aim to rely on credible sources, automated research and summaries may contain errors, omit context or become outdated. Verify important information with the original sources. Content does not constitute professional advice.

Permitted use

You may access and share links to our publicly available content for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorised access to accounts or misuse the Service. Third-party platform content remains subject to that platform's terms and applicable law.

Google and YouTube integration

The application uses Google OAuth to obtain permission from the authorised YouTube account owner to upload videos on that owner's behalf. It does not grant access to other people's accounts. The operator can revoke access through the Google Account permissions page. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Original artwork, branding and written material produced for Yesterday's News UK belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party names, media and trademarks remain the property of their owners.

Availability and changes

We may update, pause or discontinue the Service and may amend these terms. Revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” without guarantees of accuracy, availability or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights.

Privacy and contact

For information about how account data is handled, read our Privacy Policy. For enquiries, please contact the project owner through the official Yesterday's News UK channel or repository.
